Point Arkwright

Point Arkwright is a secluded seafront ‘headlands heaven’, looking out to the Pacific Ocean. It’s one of a rare handful of little coastal-pockets that hug the beach like this.
Point Arkwright beach itself is sandy, about 200 m long and backed by a pretty high-tide cobble-beach and high vegetated-bluffs. The heads are a rocky promontory just a 1km walk south of Point Perry, with amazing views north to Noosa and south as far as Morton Island.
Stroll along the Coolum Boardwalk which follows clifftops and the beachline high-up from here to Point Perry, then right down to Coolum, for stunning views. It’s an easy all-age scenic walk that’s well-lit at night.
Point Perry and Point Arkwright are great spots for whale-watching from June to November and bird watching. They’re popular scenic places for weddings too.
Point Arkwright is home to professionals and locals who own and rent headland homes. They know location is the key to a great lifestyle; Point Arkwright boasts some of the Sunshine Coast’s best sweeping white-water views.
